About the Role

The role of 1:1 TA will involve:

 

·        Being able to work under the instruction/ guidance of teaching / senior staff to               undertake work

·        Provide care for the 1:1 child as needed

·        Deliver support programmes

·        To work with 1:1 pupil, to enable access to learning

·        Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area                   depending on need

·        To assist in review meetings, planning and preparing of resources

·        Training as needed to ensure skills and knowledge are up to date
